The original Flyweight Wading Boot developed a strong following over many years from anglers who hike and wade small to medium streams. The Flyweight was revered for it's lightweight feel and comfort while providing great in stream traction. 

The New Flyweight Wading Boot promises to maintain those qualities while enhancing durability. 

Flyweight comes in Men's and Women's sizing as well as a Felt Sole option in the Men's lineup. Flyweight is stud compatible with Felt models using the Hard Bite Studs for felt and the Vibram models using either Alumibite Cleats, Hardbite Star Cleats or Hardbite Studs for Vibram.

Simms gives us an all new wet wading shoe with design coming off the wildly popular Flyweight Wading Boot.

Currently there are 3 options when buying this wading shoe: Color Slate Sole Vibram, Color Pacific Sole Vibram and Color Slate Sole Felt.

Hiking, wading, wet wading are attractive resources that lead to serene locales and offer an escape from daily hustle. These are concepts that lead to the New Simms Flyweight Boot.

A few years back I reviewed the Simms Vapor Tread Wading boot. I still and use those boots today. I see the Vapor Tread as a predecessor to the Flyweight.

Lighter, stickier, more aggressive tread, this new Flyweight boot is purpose driven all the way from its low profile and stud, cleat compatible sole. For those who venture beyond and tread lightly!
