Simms G4 Pro Wading Jacket - New for 2020

We got an in shop preview of the new G4 Pro Wading Jacket before it was released. It was interesting to see how several little past inconveniences had been resolved such as the hidden fly patch and the Shingled, no-catch watertight cuffs.

Specs

• 3-point adjustable storm hood with high vis center hood panel for safety
• Flip out vertical loop fly patch / tool docking station
• 7 external pockets - 4 on the front, 2 rear and 1 on the upper left arm.
• 2 interior stretch-woven pockets - 1 zip close, one larger drop-in.
• Right front pocket features detachable sunglass chamois. Left front has internal drop-in pouch.
• Spacious rear game pockets accessed through the front handwarmer pockets.

The Simms Guide Jacket has always been that affordable rain shell that represents value and performance. Being such a staple item Simms also builds this jacket in larger 3X and 4X sizes.

The redesigned for 2016 season Guide Jacket is built-to-fish with Gore-Tex® Shell fabric that's waterproof, breathable, lightweight, and tenacious against tears. Guide-tested features include two top-loading, fly-box compatible storage pockets with integrated retractors and Shingle Cuff engineering for unimpeded casting. A Tuck-Away fly patch folds out to hold sidelined bugs.

Noticed the two included built in retractors, fly patch and concealed pocket design. Also unique is the sleeve pocket.
