New for 2019 - Sage Spey Reels
One of the coolest new reels to appear at I-CAST is this new specific purpose Spey Reel from Sage. It features classic aesthetics with modern performance.Starting with the SCS Drag system this new reel features a one revolution, machined, anodized aluminum drag knob, fully detented and numbered for repeatable exact settings.
Large, concave arbor to provide reel rigidity and fast line pickup.
Machined aluminum full frame construction with minimal porting. The full frame features line guards to assure thin running migration does not occur. This reel is purposely made heavy to balance out two hand spey rods.
Easy converts from left to right hand retrieve and includes neoprene and embroidered ballistic nylon reel case.
Comes in two colors: Bronze and Black/Gunmetal. The bronze carries on a traditional old school appearance. Black/Gunmetal has a more modern look but without being too flashy.
Comes in two sizes: 6/7/8 and a 7/8/9. Note these are spey/switch rod sizes. No need to convert from single hand.
