Patigonian Argentina and Chile both provide excellent fishing for large wild brown and rainbow trout in the middle of our winter. We recommend Chile because it has a stable government and economy, a more temperate climate, the spectacular Andes scenery, and a remoteness and freedom from other fishermen. Our choice is in Region 11 of Patagonian Chile, about in the middle of Patagonian Chile, in an area not easily accessible except by air or ship.
