Gorge Fly Shop of Hood River, Oregon is seeking to fill a full time position of Fly Fishing Sales Associate.
Description
Gorge Fly Shop is nestled in the heart of Steelhead Country and we thrive in the two hand spey environment. Our e-commerce business serves customers from around the
world in all aspects of fly angling. Because of this multi-faceted business we are seeking a full time, long term team member who is well-versed in all
things Fly Fishing. This position expects one to provide fast, friendly and accurate customer
service primarily over the phone, but also in person and some email correspondence.
Additional job
responsibilities include but are not limited to: filling online orders, maintaining inventory, shipping and receiving.
Qualifications
- Full time position
- Seeking an experienced fly angler with exceptional knowledge of fly fishing.
- Additional knowledge in two hand spey is desired
- Passionate about fly fishing and a willingness to share your knowledge with customers ranging from beginner to expert
- Customer Service Experience – Approachable, patient and friendly
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
