RIO's New Fathom CleanSweep Sinking Lines

The New RIO Fathom CleanSweep lines are designed for the trout lake fisher. Built with a clear intermediate front end the line transforms into a faster sinking body and back to a slower sinking running line.

This configuration causes a unique fly path which covers a multitude of depths and effectively fishing the fly longer on every cast.

Designed with a quick loading head for easy casting with minimal false cast.

Incorporated in a "Hang Marker" to show the angler when he is nearing the end of the strip and a perfect time to fish "The Hang."

  1. I've been looking in vain for ANY reviews on this new line. Not sure I need another $80 buck fly line unless it really serves a purpose. I am planning to try out "loch style" drift fishing in some local reservoirs so this looks like it could "perhaps" be the ticket. Any info from people using this line yet???

    1. Sorry, we don't have any feedback for this line. If you fish a sinking type of line in lakes this is like the better approach. It's better because it doesn't just continue to sink to the abyss. It's actually designed to get your fly to a depth and maintain that throughout the course of your retrieve. These type of lines are really originating from European fishing. You might try to focus web search in that direction for actual feedback. I know if I was doing this type of fishing I'd be giving it a try.
