Deschutes Fishing Report 06/03/19: Guide Edition

I just finished doing laps on the upper river for the last few weeks. Fishing has been really good. The cold front we had sitting on us for last couple weeks seems to be helping with the length of the hatch. There continue to be bugs from Warm Springs to Maupin and trout are actively feeding on adult stonefly and salmon fly patterns with reckless abandon. We will for sure continue to have very good dry fly fishing with salmon flies and stones for another week, maybe longer and I am available for both day trips and overnighters during that period.

Go to flies have been norm woods and clark stones, chubby chernobles are still working in the heaviest of water. It’s also a good idea to have some little sallies.
