Scientific Angler Amplitude Tropical Titan - New for 2019

Scientific Anglers Titan taper has become quite well known for its effectiveness to load fast action rods and cast difficult flies. The Titan Taper showed up on the market almost 10 years ago as a freshwater model in the Textured Series of Fly lines. I see have my original Titan line and even after countless hours of use it's still completely intact and functional quality line.

Today, this great taper can be found in many versions like Sonar Titan Sink Tip, Mastery Titan Long, Amplitude Smooth Titan Long, one that I am writing about today, Amplitude Tropical Titan.
What Amplitude Titan does so well is load fast action rods quickly and shoots tough flies great distances with easy one or two backcast. The textured surface reduces a lot of friction both in rod guides as well as waters surface, which makes for easier pickups as well as its great ability to shoot line.

In addition to a great taper much thought was put into stealth and reference coloring. The tip alternates from turtle grass to camo color to create a very stealthy camo tip. Where the rear taper portion of the head meets running line the color changes to horizon. On the very rear approximately last 10' the line color goes black for easy reference that you are about to hit backing.
