Flyweight comes in Men's and Women's sizing as well as a Felt Sole option in the Men's lineup. Flyweight is stud compatible with Felt models using the Hard Bite Studs for felt and the Vibram models using either Alumibite Cleats, Hardbite Star Cleats or Hardbite Studs for Vibram.

Korkers Stealth Sneaker - New for 2024

Korkers Stealth Sneaker is a part of the New Wade Lite Line of boots from Korkers. Stealth Sneaker is a lace up boot, note they come with laces in black and red for a customized look. A notable feature of both Wade Lite Line of boots is the internal water drains on bottom of sole. No swamp foot! Also note that both of these new boots are a fixed Kling-On Rock outsole. They do accept screw in cleats for added traction.

Undoubtedly our best selling Korkers boot model. The Darkhorse is good looking, rugged and comfortable. It features BOA lacing for easy on and off and precise fit. 

Devils Canyon

Close second to the Darkhorse, Devils Canyon is light, agile, and super comfortable large due to the unique stretch upper cuff that allows flexible movement meanwhile maintaining support. Devils Canyon also features BOA lacing system. 

Terror Ridge

In my testing I found the Terror Ridge to exhibit the comfort and feel of the Darkhorse but with a standard type of lacing system. They provide strong ankle support with Korkers Heel Lock System.

Korkers Terror Ridge Wading Boot Review

Got a chance the other day to slip my stockingfoots into a new pair of Korkers Terror Ridge Wading Boots. While a new pair of boots is not quite as exciting as a new fly rod, wading boot traction, comfort, and stability play a very important role in a successful day of fly fishing. Slip around all day in poor traction and poor comfort and I guarantee you your fishing will suffer.

On the particular stream I tested these new boots I chose to go with a fresh pair of studded felt soles. The stream has very slimy rocks and this combination of felt and studs works well.

An awesome feature of korkers is you have the option to change out soles. I understand felt is not always an option due to restrictions and/or invasive species. Korkers has sole options for just about anything you can encounter. As for responsibility I choose to only use a pair of felt soles in one particular river system therefore transferring invasive's to another system is not possible through my use of felt soles.

I wore the new Terror Ridge Boots for two days straight with a combination of float tubing and wading. The first thing I noticed or should I say didn't notice is the fact that I had on a new pair of boots. Korkers have a great knack of feeling comfortable without any "break in" period necessary. Comfortable right out of the box.

One particular feature with all Korkers boots is they drain out the bottom. As soon as you step out of the river onto a trail the water in the boots instantly drains out and you never feel like you are sloshing along.

Stability in the Korkers Terror Ridge boots is amazingly good. With Korkers Heel Lock Closure System your entire foot feels anchored providing solid feel with river bottom as well as on the trail. They give you a feeling of security for your ankles and feet.

I am well pleases with these new boots and look forward to getting much more use out of them. They  remind me of my Korkers Darkhorse I reviewed (Read Darkhorse Review) three years ago and they are still going strong. The major difference in the two models is Terror Ridge is a lace up boot while Darkhorse is a BOA lace boot.

Korkers Hatchback Wading Boots - New for 2017

No...Not Photoshop! Do not adjust your set!

Hard to imagine what new technology could develop for wading boots. We have pretty much tried every material possible for soles, BOA lacing systems are not new and Korkers owns the interchangeable sole system market. So what else is there to do with a wading boot?

Enter From Rear

You've got to give it to Korkers for Innovation. These guys are non-stop thinking about how something can be better. The boot pictured is the New Korkers Hatchback Wading Boots. Rear Entry Easy Access, BOA Lacing System, Omnitrax 3.0 Interchangeable Sole System, 3PFS Achilles Stabilization System and all the other Korkers innovations I've determined I can't live without including one of my favorites the Internal Drainage system.

I first saw this boot at I-CAST/IFTD 2016. Of course even though I wasn't wearing waders I had to slip my foot in it anyway. I couldn't believe how easy the entry was. Total wide open. I was imagining myself wearing waders and the first thought that came to mind is how nice it will be to start your day without the feeling of neoprene boot wad. You know what I mean, it seems to take time for everything to get comfortable. I think we can forget that issue with this boot.

Comes with two sets of soles and two sole buying options.

1. Felt & Kling-on Tread
2. Kling-on Tread & Studded Kling-on Tread

If your region allows felt I would go with the felt option and add either Studded felt or AlumaTrax Soles for the ultimate in traction. 

If your region has banned Felt then get the Kling-on package and add AlumaTrax Soles for ultimate in traction.
