NEW Carbon Fiber Material

Introducing S-2000, which has a higher strain rate and greater strength per part. This new material allows us to reduce the overall weight of the rod while increasing the durability and ensuring a quick, smooth, modern feel.

NEW Boron Configuration

The new boron configuration maximizes the efficiency of the power transfer between the boron butt section and S-2000 graphite in the top three sections. The result gives anglers more control, increased line speed, and improved accuracy.

NEW Snake Guides

These high performance guides reduce line friction resulting in better line shooting, increased energy transfer, improved accuracy at distance, and smoother mending performance.

NEW HSR Custom Resin

Our new Custom HSR (High Strain Rate) Resin formula makes the AIR 2 lighter, stronger, more responsive, and it adds to the modern fast action feel.

NEW Box Elder Reel Seat

Our AIR 2 rods exclusively feature hand selected burled box elder spacers and beautifully machined and polished nickel silver fittings with an engraved Winston logo on the end cap.
