Have Camera. Will Travel: IFTD / ICAST Show

2013 marks a new beginning for the International Fly Tackle Dealer show. Last year it was announced that IFTD and the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, better known as ICAST would be held under the same roof. This years show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will be the largest Fishing Trade Show in the world.

With that said and the acronyms out of the way... A few of the boys from the shop will be packing their bags and making the trip to Vegas next week to check out all the top names in the biz: Sage, Simms, Hatch, Rio just to name a few.

The plan? To do some product exploration, some hand to hand, rod to reel product combat testing... so to speak. Their Mission? To seek out and find the best of the best, the worthy contenders that will best suite fly fishers across the globe and report back their findings. Everything from latest Sage ONE series to Winston and even what's up with Cortland. While they are in Vegas look for updates on our Facebook Page for some of the sights and sounds of their visit at the show and when they get back look forward to a more detailed report of their findings. Besides the neon lights, slot machines ding, ding, dingeling, pool side service... late nights, warm HOT July weather and abundance of alcohol to be found... everywhere... the boys (maybe they'll bring Lyndsey this time) are on a mission! They've made their list, checked it twice.
