Idaho Success

Mark with a nice Henry's Fork Bow

Hey, just wanted to share this nice note I received from some happy customers who fished out in Idaho this summer.  Mark had called hoping for a nice father and son trip to Idaho’s infamous Henry’s Fork after it caught his attention on a previous GFS Newsletter.  I put together a trip of 4 nights and 3 days for him and his son, Austin. It was to be their first trip together in the Rockies.  Below is the email that I received.  It’s short, but looks like they had a blast…

Austin with a mouthful
We had a great time. Henry’s Fork Lodge was awesome, first class. Food was great! We met a lot of very nice folks. Nelson the owner was very nice and eager to hear our fishing stories each night. We fished 3 days with guides from Henry’s Fork Anglers.

Day 1 - 18 fish. The biggest was a 28 inch brown trout that ate a 15 inch rainbow I was reeling in and it swallowed the whole fish. (Unfortunately no photos of that epic action.)
Day 2 – Floated the Box Canyon. We caught several 20 inch rainbows, with over 40 to 50 fish total.
Day 3 – Caught 35 to 40 fish, mostly 18 inch plus rainbows.
